TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Disclaimer:

There is always a risk when training with motorcycles. Whilst we have an excellent  record of  years of injury free training you will be required to sign a Disclaimer confirming that you understand that you take part in off road training at your own risk and that you agree to follow all Trailquest rules and regulations and the instructions of your instructors. You are also confirming that you are physically fit, not under medication that prevents rigorous exercise and that you have not drunk any alcohol within twelve hours of the start of your training.

You are advised to take out  Personal Accident Insurance – particularly if you are self employed.

 

Rider Licence:

To use one of our bikes you a need full motorcycle licence – please remember to bring the card with you. You can go to the DVLA website and follow the links to print off a paper licence.

Our bikes are Royal Enfield Himalayan off road bikes. We have some smaller trail bikes for shorter riders or those nervous about using larger bikes off road.

Training will be tailored to suit your riding experience so please be clear when booking what your experience of motorcycle riding is – including when you last rode a bike.

Clients may opt to use their own bike provided the bike has suitable off road tyres,  insurance that covers off road use, and owners accept that Trailquest will not be held liable for any damage that may be incurred should  the bike be damaged during training.

Course Payment:

Courses must be paid for in full at time of booking. Dates are not confirmed until payment has been received.

The fee includes a £60-00 admin fee which is not refundable.

The preferred, and safest method of payment is by BACS. We do not accept credit cards.

 Course Cancellation:

You are advised to insure yourself for loss of fees should you have to cancel your booking

A non refundable deposit of £60.00 per person per day is part of your course fee.

Cancellation within 72 hours of the start of course will result in the loss of 50% of the full cost of the course. 

Cancellation within  24 hours will result in the loss of the full cost of the course 

It is appreciated that late cancellation is sometimes unavoidable and we are always happy to rearrange your course  to an alternative date  where possible.

Cancellation by Trailquest:

Training in inclement weather  conditions  is neither  enjoyable or effective and can be dangerous.  We reserve the right to cancel courses if conditions are deemed to be unsuitable or unsafe . In this eventuality you will be offered an alternative date.

Damage Deposit:

To use one of our bikes it is necessary for us to take a £150-00 damage deposit. This will be returned to you (in part or in full) at the end of your training session provided the bike you have used has not suffered any serious damage.
